Lorena Juan Gutiérrez is an intercultural mediator and translator living in Berlin.

She currently writes her PhD dissertation on gender roles and women’s representation on the Internet. She is also the co-founder and editor-in-chief of COVEN Berlin, and therefore responsible for the written content and conceptual arrangement of the collective. She works transdisciplinary with gender, age, sex and race issues, as well as body politics and immigration affairs.

Lorena has an adventurous and curious nature and enjoys clicking on “random article” during her extremely extensive Wikipedia visits. One quarter of her brain is believed to serve as Internet’s garbage dump and yesterday she went to the gym for the first time in her life.
